Community Development

Community development program focuses on interpersonal skills such as ability to build trust, handle conflict, value differences, listen actively and communicate effectively, hence, ultimately contributing in community’s development. It includes Occupational skill training, supportive services, adult mentoring, comprehensive guidance and counseling, in the community.

It will help youth to build quality relationships with adults and peers, promote cultural activities, ability to work in a team, communicate better, public speaking hence resulting in both personal and professional growth of youths.

• • YDLC  conducts programs includes mentoring activities that connect youth to adult mentors to provide guidance & support and build interpersonal skills

  • It helps in youth identifying resources within the community that allows them to practice conversation and investigation skills with those individuals who they do not know very well
